Built for a client in the pet care industry, the platform brings to life the vision of a “One Health Platform” — fostering a system where humans and animals collaborate to shape a new model of healthcare. The application delivers enhanced clinical experiences in veterinary medicine, serving the needs of both pet owners and veterinarians as its primary users.

Core features include:

  • Symptom Recording: Log and track pet symptoms in real time, enabling early detection and better communication with vets.
  • Medication Management: Store medication details including type, dosage, and schedule, helping ensure consistent treatment.
  • Health Calendar: View recorded symptoms and medication history by date to identify patterns and support long-term care.
  • Vet Sharing Portal: Share pet health data securely via one-time password with its companion web dashboard for veterinarians — a web interface that visualizes medical history for veterinary review.

  • Medication and Dosage Uncertainty: Selecting appropriate treatments was difficult due to limited reference data and inconsistent records.
  • Need for Detailed Change Logs: A reliable system was needed to track every modification in pet health data for accuracy and traceability.
  • Scalability Concerns: The platform had to support a growing user base with high performance and minimal latency.

Solutions

Our team proposed and implemented advanced technological solutions, building a robust and flexible system:

  • Consultation on Medication Dosages: Our team conducted in-depth research and consultation on human medication dosages and usage to adapt them appropriately for pets, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Implementation of Data Change Log Structure: We designed and implemented an advanced data change log structure, allowing for the detailed storage and tracking of all health information fluctuations for pets.
  • Microservice Architecture and Auto-Scaling Infrastructure: To ensure high scalability and performance, the system was designed following a Microservice model. Concurrently, we built an infrastructure capable of automatically scaling up and down flexibly according to user demand.
