We are looking for a motivated DevSecOps Intern to join our engineering team. This internship is designed for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience with modern DevSecOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system operations. You will work closely with software engineers and system teams to support development, deployment, and monitoring of real-world systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Support deployment and monitoring of applications
  • Help manage cloud resources and environments
  • Write and maintain simple scripts for automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Assist in system monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation
  • Document DevSecOps processes and setups
  • Collaborate with developers to improve deployment and reliability

What you will learn: 

  • Fundamentals of DevSecOps culture and workflows
  • Linux system administration and troubleshooting
  • CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy automation)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure basic level)
  • Containerization using Docker
  • Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
  • Monitoring and logging basics (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
  • Security best practices in DevSecOps (secrets, access control, basic hardening)

Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Linux and command-line usage
  • Familiarity with Git and version control concepts
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (HTTP, DNS, ports)
  • Willingness to learn cloud and DevSecOps tools
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of Docker or containers
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Node.js)
  • Understanding of basic security concepts
